A man who posted every day for 321 days videos of himself on TikTok in which he pretends to be dead - got what he dreamed of when he was invited to play a corpse in the successful series: "CSI: VEGAS".

It turns out that with hard work, diligence and a few hundred videos of you lying on the floor pretending to be dead, it's possible to land a dream role on a top TV series and get a pinch of fame.

It's tempting what happened to Josh Nally from Kentucky who day after day uploaded videos to his tiktok page @living_dead_josh in which he pretends to be dead in the hope that a series will give him a role in one of its episodes.

After 321 days as a dead man, he got what he wanted: "CSI: VEGAS" contacted him and informed the viral star that they were offering him the opportunity to play a corpse in one of their episodes.

In a conversation with the media, he said that he has no acting experience, but over time he learned how to play a corpse in an increasingly convincing way: "I don't even like talking in front of a camera, but I can lie there and pretend to be dead quite easily. I've done it more than 300 posts, I progressed and got better. At first, I was seen breathing, or the fake blood would look very bad. I stopped using the blood and started learning how to hold my breath."

Josh realized that the key to portraying a corpse was to have movement in the video so it wouldn't be thought it was a still image, so he made sure that while he was lying dead there would be movement around him.

He said that he got the idea after seeing a woman upload a video about hot sauce on Tiktok and received several offers from stores, and wondered if he could get a role as a corpse in a TV series in the same way.

Not everything went smoothly while filming, as he once destroyed a post when he forgot to turn off his phone and one of his friends decided to call him at the wrong time.

Although he has no intention of quitting his job as a restaurant manager, he has received several more offers to play a corpse in other series, so perhaps his dream of stardom has only just begun.

In the meantime, he continues to post as a corpse for his own pleasure.
