The giant of Lexus has landed in the showrooms for the beginning of going on the road in January 2023. Meet the LX600, which is the fourth generation of Lexus' large SUVs based on the largest and most expensive of the Toyota Land Cruiser family of SUVs, and as such it replaces its predecessor, the LX570.
In this respect, as an addition to the elite group of luxury off-road vehicles such as the Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover, it is together with the British at the more combative end of the scale when under the design of its... shall we say, challenging , there are robust off-road assemblies with a layer of systems and controls for off-road driving.

With a length of 510 cm, a width of 199 cm and a height of 190 cm, this is not a small vehicle at all. On the other hand, the wheelbase of 285 cm is significantly smaller than that of its rivals.
That's good for an SUV, it doesn't bode well for interior space.
The interior space is up to 20.5 cm. The weight will range from 2,525 to 2,680 depending on the equipment version.
The LX will come in two seat configurations, for 7 or 4 passengers, with the latter being the highest trim level and offering two first class seats for those sitting in the back , including seat tilt, footrest, massage, ventilation and separate multimedia. In the 7-seat version, the trunk volume is 174 liters when all the seats are in use and 590 liters when the third row is folded.

As mentioned, the base is a rugged SUV and the platform here is Toyota's TNGA-F with a ladder chassis, central differential lock and power transmission.
At the back it has a live axle and the adaptive shock absorbers allow the body height to be changed using a hydraulic system.
On top of these are added electronic aids such as off-road driving modes (6 of them), a system that allows you to brake the rear wheel in order to reduce the turning radius, hill driving control and more.
The drive itself comes from a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine with two turbochargers, 409 hp and 66.2 kg (5.7-liter V8 in the outgoing generation).
The gearbox is automatic with 10 transmission ratios.
Performance is 6.9 seconds for 100 and 210 km/h maximum.

The LX will come in three trim levels, Kyushu, Dori and Takumi VIP.
The entry level, priced at NIS 890,000, has, among other things, a panoramic roof, acoustic windows, 20-inch rims, an electric tailgate, ventilation and heating for the front seats, cameras that simulate what is happening under the vehicle, a digital dashboard, a 12.3 multimedia monitor inch and below it a 7-inch display used for the driving and climate controls.
At the generation trim level at a price of NIS 950,000, the rims increase to 22 inches, an elite display, the audio system is by Mark Levinson, ventilation for the rear seats, closing the car for the doors, electric folding for the rows of seats, separate screens for the second row occupants and more.
At the top of the offer, the "Takomi VIP" is designed to provide a limousine transportation experience for two passengers in the second row who will sit in separate armchairs with massage and ventilation, natural wood trim and handmade sewing, a wireless charging surface and more.
