Christine McVie was born Christine Perfect.

She joined Fleetwood Mac in 1970 after marrying John McVeigh, the band's founder.

In addition to her membership in the band, she also released three solo albums.

In 1998 she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
