The police had to intervene so that the event could resume and that all those present came out to safety.

“Everyone hates leftists!

To hear the words spoken by the troublemakers, there is no doubt that their intervention was the work of far-right activists.

This Thursday evening, the conference at Bordeaux-Montaigne University (in Pessac) held by the rebellious deputy Louis Boyard, who multiplies this type of travel, and his colleague from the Assembly Carlos Martens Bilongo, was thus interrupted by several people, some of whom are a priori threatening.

According to our colleagues from Sud Ouest, around twenty hooded activists, some of whom armed with iron bars or truncheons, intervened to try to enter the amphitheater.

Several people would then have intervened to prevent them, namely members of the rebellious security service according to the account of the two deputies.

The images relayed by the latter on social networks show some of these activists, blocked in front of a fence.

30 far-right activists have just attacked our conference in Bordeaux with @BilongoCarlos.

Armed with truncheons, they tried to enter the room to attack us.

Thanks to the SO who happily rebuffed them. @GDarmanin, disband far-right groups.

According to the words of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who quickly denounced on Twitter the facts related by the LFI deputies, three of the members of the security service were injured.

“Shame for Darmanin and his friends: yet another far-right attack on two deputies at a conference.

Three wounded in our accompaniment.

That's enough, ”wrote the third man of the last presidential election.

Darmanin called to intervene

According to our colleagues from Sud Ouest, the university finally called the police who went to the scene to allow the conference to continue in safety.

“We always fear this kind of intrusion, unfortunately it is an increasingly visible presence on campuses”, regretted Lionel Larré, president of the establishment, with the regional daily.

Also on Twitter, MP Louis Boyard, whose name very often came up in the media during his clash with Cyril Hanouna, thanked the members of the security service who intervened.

He then also called for the intervention of Gérald Darmanin, to demand the dissolution of the far-right groups.
