The 51-year-old American actor Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition after experiencing an accident while shoveling snow at his home, the actor's spokesman told the media in the United States yesterday (Sunday) night.
Renner was evacuated by helicopter from his home near the city of Reno, Nevada, to a hospital in Reno itself.
His spokesman said his family is with him now and that he is receiving excellent care.
Renner has a home near Mount Rose-Ski Tahoe, about 40 miles from Reno.
The area was hit by a major snowstorm on New Year's Eve that resulted in 35,000 homes across northern Nevada counties losing power yesterday morning, local media reports.
