Blows, screams and a scene of horror.

A 12-year-old boy fell into the void on the 11th floor of a building in Champigny (Val-de-Marne) this Wednesday evening.

The student was picked up by paramedics and taken to hospital.

His vital prognosis was then very committed, according to a police source.

This Thursday morning, the child was still alive, according to a judicial source.

"He was operated on but his days are still in danger," says a family member.

The victim's father-in-law was arrested shortly after the incident, around midnight.

He was taken into custody for a double homicide attempt.

The same evening, he is indeed suspected of having thrown the boy out of his bedroom window, but also of having tried to kill his companion while he was armed with a knife.

The child had taken refuge in his room

It is a little after 10 p.m. this Wednesday when Mohamed, 32, returns home to his apartment located rue Boileau, in the heart of the city of Bois-l'Abbé in Champigny.

The man is completely drunk.

And this is not the first time.

According to the first elements collected, he immediately attacks his companion.

He allegedly “molested” her and threatened her with death, according to a source close to the investigation.

He was then provided with a knife but he would not have used it.

The exact circumstances of the violence that occurred at this time are still unclear.

Still, the boy attends this scene and he gets scared.

He flees towards his room while he is pursued by his stepfather.

The child then falls out of his window.

Was he dumped by his stepfather?

Did he defenestrate himself?

This is what the investigators of the departmental service of the judicial police, seized of the case by the parquet floor of Créteil, will try to determine.

According to our information, the stepfather would have assured the police that the child had jumped “on his own”.

Until Wednesday evening, the suspect was apparently not known to the police.
