As part of the media promotion campaign for his new and revealing autobiographical book, Prince Harry was also interviewed by Stephen Colbert, and even filmed a short skit in which he jokes about the customs of the royal family.
In the skit, two snobs in formal suits greet Harry on a red carpet as they arrive at CBS studios, and he thanks Colbert but asks them to stop because it's unnecessary.
But the host of the Tonight Show explained to him that they were actually waiting there for Tom Hanks, another guest who participated in the show.
"What are you talking about, it's not for you. Move out of the way, he's coming," Colbert said.
In the interview itself, the full length of which is 38 minutes and some of the things said in it have already caused a stir, Colbert continues to have fun with Harry, comparing the royal family to the world of Harry Potter.
Against the backdrop of what Harry said about his strained relationship with his brother while the two were attending the military boarding school at Eton, Colbert laughs: "It's heartbreaking. To be rejected by his older brother at school even though a magical hat sent them to the same house. What do you think? Hufflepuff? Gryffindor?".
