The vignette for motorways in Austria has become slightly more expensive in 2023.
As of this year, the ten-day “sticker” most often used for these cases costs 30 cents more – that is, 9.90 euros instead of 9.60 euros.
The price for the two-month vignette rose by 80 cents to 29 euros.
The annual vignette costs 96.40 this year, which is 2.60 euros more than in 2022.

What winter vacationers in the ski areas near the border should be interested in: Several short sections of the motorway are toll-free, as the ADAC knows: The Inntalautobahn A 12 from the border to the Kufstein-Süd junction, the Westautobahn A 1 from the border to the Salzburg-Nord junction and the Rheintalautobahn A 14 from the border to the Hohenems connection.

Vignettes 2023: No surcharge in Switzerland and Slovenia
For Switzerland, the annual vignette still costs 40 francs, as the ADAC further informed on its website at the beginning of 2023.

In Slovenia, the price for the annual car vignette will remain stable at EUR 110, for the monthly vignette at EUR 30 and for the 7-day vignette at EUR 15.

From 2022 there will only be the electronic vignette, according to the automobile club.
All prices mentioned refer to vignettes for cars.
In contrast to Germany, a toll fee is due in many European countries.
