It was around 2 a.m. on the night of Saturday to Sunday when a 55-year-old man stabbed a woman, who could be his companion, in the city center of Agen (Lot-et-Garonne), reports Sud Ouest .
The victim was transported to the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux (Gironde) but his vital prognosis is no longer engaged.
The emergency services intervened at the exit of a bar in Agen: the victim, aged around 30, had just been injured by several stab wounds in the throat and chest.
His alleged attacker also injured his hand.

La Dépêche du Midi specifies the circumstances of the attack.
According to the daily, the victim was on the terrace when the perpetrator stabbed her before fleeing into the nearby streets.
Witnesses chased him but it was a crew from the anti-crime squad who ended up arresting him.
According to Sud Ouest, the couple is known to the courts.
Both have already filed complaints of acts of violence.
This time, the circumstances of the attack are not yet known.
The two protagonists had not yet been heard on Sunday.
