Ten days ago, Mark informed the Minister of Innovation and Science, Ofir Akunis, that she was giving up her candidacy for the position of CEO of the Ministry. According to Likud officials, Mark realized after the interview that her candidacy would not be approved by the commission and therefore requested to withdraw it in advance.
