For the second time, scientists at the Hawaii Observatory have spotted a glowing blue spiral in the sky. This time too, it is not about aliens and the reason for a completely normal phenomenon

A spectacular sight in the sky of Hawaii:

the Subaru telescope (which, like the car brand, is named after the Pleiades star cluster), the flagship telescope of the Japanese National Observatory located on Mauna Kea in Hawaii, detected a bright blue spiral moving in the evening sky last Wednesday - according to a tweet from the astronomical observatory Japan's national

Conspiracies aside - this is a normal side effect of launching SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.

According to experts, clouds of this type are sometimes formed when a rocket carries a satellite into orbit.

When the propellant is ejected from the back, you have what is essentially water and carbon dioxide - which briefly forms a cloud in space lit by the sun.

An amateur astronomer named Scott Tilley also tweeted in response that the location of the spiral in the sky corresponds to the trajectory of SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket that was launched shortly before.

On Jan 18, 2023 (HST), the Subaru-Asahi Star Camera captured a mysterious flying spiral over Maunakea, Hawai`i.

The spiral seems to be related to the SpaceX company's launch of a new satellite.

And this is not the first time that such a phenomenon has occurred after the launch of a SpaceX rocket:

as early as April 2022, scientists at the Subaru Observatory recorded the unusual appearance in the sky.

Last June, a glowing blue spiral was reported in the sky of New Zealand, shortly after the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket.
