A drop in Microsoft services affects your email and apps like Teams

The company offered more information to users in a link where it said that at least these services were affected, but there could be more: Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, Outlook, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Graph, PowerBi and Microsoft365 Admin Center.

This is how Microsoft described the progress of its recovery work at that time: "We have isolated the problem to a network configuration issue and are analyzing the best mitigation strategy to address it without causing additional impact."

In its eleven o'clock update, the company expands the affected services to Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, and is already showing signs of a start to recovery after identifying that a change in "routing network (WAN)" It had caused an impact on the service.

“We have rolled back the change and are watching the service as it recovers.

Some of the customers who had reported impacts are also warning of a recovery."

The US company also admits that the ruling may affect "any user" who uses those services.

The Downdetector page, commonly used to record falls on the internet, indicated how it affected various Microsoft brands since early morning in Europe.

Among the affected services are Teams, which at this time prevents communication in writing or video calls in thousands of companies, or Outlook, the company's email service.

The issue affects millions of users who work with Microsoft cloud services.
