The media group Partner and the company MindsView announced this morning (Thursday) a collaboration for the first pilot of its kind in Israel, which is currently being carried out at the Ichilov Hospital.
As part of the pilot, an innovative system allows the attending physician to consult with a specialist remotely, using augmented reality glasses, which transmit a complete 'image' - audio, video and data - of the patient and his surroundings, as seen by the attending physician.
Thus, the specialist doctor takes an active and decisive part in solving critical problems in real time.
The uniqueness of the system, in that it allows the specialist doctor to mark graphic markings on the video and display them on AR glasses with high precision.
As we know, the solutions that exist today use mobile devices and provide a point-in-time video solution.
With the new solution, the company breaks the existing cost barriers so that the AR glasses are within reach of every doctor.
The current solution will enable a response to more than 40% of the consultation calls with senior staff, who are not always available for immediate consultation at the treatment location.
In this way, it will be possible to avoid serious medical errors and enable effective treatment.
