Raphaël Dupond-Moretti, son of the Keeper of the Seals Éric Dupond-Moretti, is in police custody this Friday in Courchevel (Savoie) for suspicion of "domestic violence", learned Le Parisien, confirming information from TF1 / LCI.
The facts date back to Thursday, late afternoon.
A neighbor reported them to the police.
Raphaël Dupond-Moretti then introduced himself.
He was first freely heard by the gendarmes on Thursday, before being summoned and then placed in police custody.
The Minister of Justice, interviewed by BFMTV, said he was "devastated as a father" about the case concerning his son.
"I have a thought for the victim, any violence whatsoever is intolerable," added Éric Dupond-Moretti.
“As Minister, I have constantly fought against violence against women and for their voice to be taken into account.
As a citizen, I ask that my family life be respected.
It is now up to justice to do its job, ”continued the Keeper of the Seals.
