The current job market for technological workers is confusing: there are many fintech companies, start-ups and various high-tech companies, the recruitment process for which is difficult and unclear.
I'm here to tell you how different it is in the technology division of Bank Hapoalim - which leads the only recruitment process that breaks through all glass ceilings, and actually leads to a revolution in the world of technological banking.
First of all, some background: about 1,600 men and women from a wide range of fields are employed in the technology.
The division recruits for a wide variety of roles and fields starting with development roles, infrastructure, Cyber, Data, operations and more.
Most positions require prior experience, but in some departments there are junior positions intended for bachelor's degree graduates in the field or relevant training graduates.

Each of the recruiters in the department has a rich background and extensive experience in recruiting technological employees.
We work around the clock to respond, provide a good and fast recruitment experience, and closely accompany our candidates throughout the entire process.
We emphasize that it is important for us to give an opportunity to every candidate regardless of race, gender, sect, sector or disability (and this can be seen in the field).
Even in cases of non-compliance, we do so sensitively while providing constructive feedback.
How do candidates reach us?
We are deployed on a variety of platforms: from the software houses, through a friend bringing a friend to LinkedIn.
We also allow our employees to submit a contract and be sorted into different jobs within the division, in order to allow them to develop and bring themselves to satisfaction and fulfillment in the organization. In fact, the transition between organizations that people make between different workplaces - we make it possible to do it in-house and build a career.
We will divide the recruitment processes into two main channels: internal recruitment and external recruitment.
The internal recruitment process refers to employees who wish to make a change in their position or to advance to another position without limitation of working time in the division.
The entire selection process is carried out very discreetly on our part, to allow employees to feel comfortable and safe without worries.
The selection process for internal recruitment begins with the posting of the position on the corporate portal, where the open positions in the technology division are displayed.
The job will always state the name of the hiring manager and which tribe and project.
If there is a match between the two parties after an interview, we will begin a sensitive mobility process, taking into account all parties.
The external recruitment process refers to the recruitment of employees from the outside, and begins with receiving a contract for the recruitment box. They can come to us on behalf of the software houses we work with or by an employee who sends a friend on his behalf or by direct inquiries from candidates. After our screening and review, according to the requirements position, we will pass the suitable candidates for an examination and an impression. After that, the manager contacts the candidate for a telephone interview, and depending on the impression in the conversation, coordinates a professional interview for them. If the candidate passes the professional stage, the next stage will be an interview HR with the technological recruiter, and a reliability procedure with security.

The candidates who successfully complete the recruitment process will receive an Onboarding gift from us with a courier delivered to their home, and a mentor will be attached to them to accompany them in the first stages of the job.
In addition, a "Buddy" will be attached to it, the purpose of which is to accompany in the social and personal sphere (starting with where to eat, getting to know the staff and a variety of technological roles and attach to meetings).
Later, the new employee will join a special orientation day.
