Giannantonio Pettinelli Revuelto is born, the first HPEV plug-in hybrid V12 super sports car from Automobili Lamborghini.

In the year of the 60th anniversary of the Sant'Agata Bolognese house, the Revuelto project outlines the new road taken by Lamborghini with the Movimento Cor Tauri program, wanted by the president and CEO Stephan Winkelmann which will lead the Bull house towards decarbonisation of its models by 2030.

Revuelto is an all-new plug-in hybrid with 1015 HP and four-wheel drive with a powertrain that combines the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 central heat engine with three electric motors: two at the front and one at the rear integrated into the new 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, which for the first time has been installed behind the internal combustion engine.

Carbon fiber, on the other hand, is the main structural element, used not only to make the aeronautical-inspired chassis but also all the elements of the bodywork, with the exception of the doors and bumpers.

The use of carbon fiber and ultra-lightweight materials has contributed to achieving the best weight/power ratio in Lamborghini history: 1.75 kg/hp.

Features that allow the Revuelto to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.5" and a top speed of over 350 km/h.

The three electric motors are powered by a lithium-ion battery that also allow driving in electric mode and improve power delivery at low revs, reducing CO2 emissions by 30% compared to the Aventador Ultimae.

The new L545 engine has a cubic capacity of 6.5 liters and is the lightest and most powerful of the 12-cylinder engines manufactured by Lamborghini to date with a power of 825 HP at 9250 rpm.

It weighs 218 kg, 17 kg less than the Aventador unit.

In addition to the internal combustion engine that provides traction to the rear wheels, the Revuelto debuts a pair of electric motors placed on the front axle, each of which provides traction to one wheel.

Then there is a third electric motor capable, depending on the driving style and the driving conditions, of supplying torque to the rear axle.

The driving torque is 725 Nm for the internal combustion engine and 350 Nm for each of the front electric motors with a maximum overall power that reaches 1015 HP.

The two front e-motors, in addition to ensuring traction to the front wheels, perform the function of torque vectoring, to optimize driving dynamics, and recover energy during the braking phases.

The Revuelto can thus proceed in full electric mode with a range of up to over 10 km.

Together with the hybrid system, three new dedicated driving modes also make their debut: Recharge, Hybrid and Performance.

These are combined with the other driving modes called Città, Strada, Sport and Corsa.

In total, there are 13 driving styles that underline the different characteristics and potential of the car based on the circumstances and the type of road or track.

The pinnacle of 1015bhp power is achieved in Performance mode.

The cockpit houses a pronounced carbon profile that encloses the central air vents and the 8.4" vertical touchscreen, the technological heart of the car. The driver and co-driver can simultaneously view the same information from the displays located in the 12" digital cockpit, 3", on the driver's side, and in the 9.1" display installed on the dashboard on the passenger's side. The three digital screens have made it possible to eliminate most of the physical keys and at the same time implement new functions to allow you to concentrate completely on driving. Revuelto introduces the "swipe" function, thanks to which the pilot and co-pilot can move applications and information from the central display to the side ones. The steering wheel was inspired by the racing world with the possibility of selecting the driving modes, the car lift system and the inclination of the rear wing.

With Revuelto, Lamborghini implements for the first time on a super sports car a complete ADAS system, which includes functions to improve safety and daily driving, thanks to a sophisticated system of cameras, radar and sensors.

The package includes, among other things, the Active Lane Departure Warning, which monitors road markings and corrects the steering in the event of involuntary crossing of the lane margin line and the Lane Change Warning, which monitors blind spots.

There is also the Adaptive Cruise Control, which regulates the speed of the car and the distance from the vehicle in front, accelerating or braking autonomously.

To make maneuvering easier and safer, however, Revuelto is equipped with Rear Cross Traffic Alert,

There are 400 different colors available for the bodywork, not to mention that each customer can further customize their vehicle, defining the livery they prefer.

The price of the Revuelto is 510,000 euros including taxes, the car can already be ordered and the first deliveries are expected by the end of 2023.
