Trailer "Harry Potter: The Reunion Special" (Warner)
Will the magic journey continue?
The prestigious cable network HBO ("House of the Dragon", "The White Lotus", "The Last of Us", "The Heirs") is close to a deal that will lead to the production of a new feature television series based on the "Harry Potter" books - as reported tonight (Sunday) on the Bloomberg website .
According to the report, each season of the series will be dedicated to the plot of one of the books.
The "Harry Potter" saga, created by JK Rowling, is one of the most successful book series in history, and at its center is the story of the magical boy of that name, whose destiny destined him to be at the forefront of the fight against the forces of darkness.
The series follows him through the seven years of growing up at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he embarks on many adventures.
Along with the seven main books in the saga, several other books have been written over the years that condense the story from all sides.
A little more than 20 years ago, while the saga was being written, a series of films based on the books of the series began production, in which Daniel Radcliffe starred.
Despite their massive commercial success, they received mixed reviews and many fans were disappointed with them, partly because of the necessity to cut or change many plot details for the film adaptation.
A long TV series will answer some of these problems.
The report comes in the background of a widespread protest in the United States in recent years against Rowling, who tweeted statements considered transphobic on her Twitter account.
