The "Last Generation" has blocked a street in Düsseldorf.
That didn't sit well with a driver.
He pushed an activist.
Car drivers and climate activists will probably no longer be friends in this life.
This is not least due to the form of the protest, which does not go down well even with many supporters.
Criticism also recently came from Fridays for Future.
It is not uncommon for nerves to be on edge, as was also shown by a campaign by the “last generation” in Düsseldorf.
Driver pushes climate sticker away: "Everything done right!"
There, a meeting between a driver and a climate adhesive ended anything but peacefully.
A video shared on Twitter by Last Generation Press Secretary Carla Hinrichs shows the incident.
She writes:
"What will happen when the food on the supermarket shelves runs out?"

In the clip, which was probably taken on April 12 in Erkrather Strasse, as the
picture
assumes, you can see how the climate activist is just putting on his safety vest when a driver pushes him away from behind.
Then he hits the street.
But the climate adhesive is unimpressed and remains seated directly on the wet asphalt and continues the blockade.

Motorist pushes climate glue away: Many Twitter users are demanding consequences
Numerous comments accumulate under the video and show that quite a few users would have acted in a similar way to the driver from the Mettmann district.
One writes: "The driver did everything right!" And Til Schweiger would probably act similarly.
Another user says: "The gentleman deserves a medal." For some users, the "last generation" is not entirely innocent of such reactions, one emphasizes: "These are exactly the pictures you want to have around you to be able to stylize as a martyr.”

But by no means everyone approves of the driver's behavior.
Many even claim that the man should bear the consequences for his actions.
"To sue!
The number plate is easy to see,” demands one user, for example.
The police are therefore repeatedly linked under the video and an investigation is actually already underway.
