To a large extent, the Porsche Cayenne is Porsche's most challenging model.
With all due respect to the all-electric Taycan, the excellent Buscar and of course the legendary 911 - the Cayenne should be the one that combines the impossible configuration of a crossover with what is expected from a manufacturer of sports cars.
As part of the innovations presented by the model, you can find new or improved engines, updates to the driving controls, the dual drive to design updates, as well as a mini-revolution in the passenger compartment and its driver's environment.
In the exterior design, the most notable changes are the front lights with a slightly sharper look and including the matrix LED lighting that has become standard in the current generation.

But the most significant change that the Cayenne undergoes is in the passenger compartment, where the dashboard is a curved 12.6-inch screen and to its right is a 12.3-inch multimedia screen, with the gear selector moved from the central console and looking like the one in the 911.
Also added as an option is the installation of another 10.9-inch multimedia screen in front of the passenger where you can control the multimedia system, the navigation or consume video, where a special technique of its covering angle prevents the driver from seeing what is shown there.
As a rule, its appearance shows what we expect to see in the manufacturer's next passenger cabins in terms of technologies and display layout.

The changes in the field of engines include a power boost of all the power units, as appropriate for the refresh before its transition to an all-electric version in the future.
The base engine is still the 3.0-liter V6, but this time with 354 hp (previously 340).
Above it is the hybrid version, with the same engine and electric boost that will provide 470 hp compared to 462 until now when the increase is due to an improvement in the power of the electric motor.
Increasing the battery from 17.9 kWh to 25.9 kWh also extends the electric range, which will be no less than 90 km according to the WLTP standard. An 11 kW charger means it will be ready to go in less than two and a half hours. In the muscle
department There is the 4.0-liter V8 engine, while in the S it will have 474 hp (440 hp from the 2.9-liter engine before). It will reach 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds and a maximum speed of 273 km/h.

In the chassis and handling department, it receives Porsche's adaptive damper system, with two valves for the damper - which makes it possible to separate the damping and rebound action.
This also means better control of ride comfort when driving in the city or at low speed and control of body angles at high speed.
Above these shock absorbers and the iron springs, the air shock package will be offered as an option here as well, according to the manufacturer, the differences in the feedback received between the different driving modes have been improved.
As in the past, the Cayenne comes in the classic configuration alongside the coupe configuration with the tail cut off, which has a sporty appearance and is slightly more expensive.
And if we talked about prices, the renewed Cayenne is expected to arrive in Israel already in the third quarter of 2023, that is, in the coming months.
For the first time in Israel and in an unusual way in the premium sector, the importer Orchid Sports Cars will offer an extended warranty of 4 years, two from the manufacturer and two more extended warranties from the importer.

Prices, competitors
Cayenne prices will start at 780,000 shekels, for the 3.0 liter, which will include the adaptive dampers, 20-inch rims, a panoramic roof, Matrix LED headlights and more.
This is a price increase of only NIS 5,000 compared to the outgoing generation.
For the checkout configuration, you will be asked to add NIS 15,000 to NIS 795,000.
The Cayenne E Hybrid will cost 975,000 shekels and another 10,000 shekels for the coupe configuration, from this version and up the air shocks are added as standard.
For the Cayenne S, the price climbs to NIS 1.025 million and its coupe version - NIS 1.050 million.
