Journalist Yanon Magal, presenter of "The Patriots" on Channel 14, attacked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in an unusual manner yesterday against the background of the latter's conduct at the beacon ceremony.
"I am against this video of the Prime Minister at the beacon ceremony and I did not like his and Sara's entrance to the ceremony," Magal said.
"This is a ceremony that has always been the Knesset's. Mr. Prime Minister, forgive me for saying this - but I say this every year - you should not be an outlier in the ceremony. It is the Knesset's, the Knesset's chairman sits and there is no need for political disputes here.
You don't have to be at the beacon ceremony and broadcast your video.
Nothing will happen if you are absent.
There is the secret of reduction.
You too can learn the secret of reduction and not be at this ceremony."
