The family of movie actor Jamie Foxx ("No Holds Barred Gunjo") is asking the public to pray for him while he is in the hospital.
The successful actor, 55, was hospitalized more than three weeks ago after feeling unwell.
His family announced that he suffered from a medical complication, but has not elaborated on his condition since then.
Now, those close to him told TMZ that he needs all the prayers and best wishes he can get.
Fox was filming for a new movie in Atlanta while being rushed to a hospital in the area, with Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz also playing by his side.
Since then, he has been replaced in the photographs by two doubles.
Also a TV show that was supposed to lead and was about to be produced, changed the host.
Corinne Fox, the actor's daughter, was the one who announced his condition in early April on behalf of the family.
"The Fox family would like to share that my father, Jamie Fox, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Fortunately, thanks to quick action and great care, he is on the road to recovery," the statement read, and continued: "We know how much he is loved and appreciate your prayers. The family Requesting privacy during this time."
