Yermi Kaplan on the podcast in Vala!
(Walla system!)
The singer Yermi Kaplan announced today (Thursday) the stoppage of his performances, due to a complex neck surgery that he needs to undergo.
"A lot of steamy phrases and words of disappointment have come out of my mouth in recent months," said Kaplan, "so the story is that shortly before the performance at the hall I found out that I had to undergo neck surgery to maintain the continued function of my limbs. Anyone who has ever come to a performance knows that my hands and feet have a life of their own themselves. The thought of losing them is a disaster for me and also the news that surgery on the neck vertebrae is what will save them is not reassuring at all."
"I have come to terms with the fact that it is better to deal with the situation face to face, to finish the process, to go through the recovery and rehabilitation phase as quickly as possible in order to get back to business as quickly as possible. So now that I have come to terms with my situation, I am taking action. I am doing so with a very heavy feeling and after much deliberation Kaplan added and explained that for this reason: he "was forced to stop and postpone all performances from the date set for the surgery until a complete recovery (about three months). The 'Yermi does Yermi' concert tour, which has not yet started and has already sold hundreds of tickets, will have to wait."
"So I started with sadness but I will end with great optimism that we will see each other on the other side and I will return to kicking you in the stomach as I like, and as I know many of you do too. I am convinced that you understand and will welcome me with open arms. I will be back soon", he concluded.
