Bugatti is not just another car brand. It is the one that best combines luxury and sportiness. Its headquarters has an atelier where its models are assembled by hand and a chateau where its administrative offices are. That's how special the French brand is.

Throughout its history it was like this and always pursued the avant-garde, both quality and performance. That is why several times he has broken speed or acceleration records.

There is a very special owner who owns three copies that represent that avant-garde that the company permanently pursues.

These are three world record holding cars: the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition, the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Edition and the Chiron Super Sport 300+.

As explained from Bugatti, their desire was "to bring them home, reunite them with the place where they came to life and with the team that made it possible." A dream that came true when the three record-breaking hypersports cars were carefully driven to Château Saint Jean. The name of the owner was not released.

As if something were missing, these models, belonging to the Singh Collection, based in Punjab, India; They arrived with two other models of the French brand, also from the same collection: a Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang and a Divo. Just taking the sale prices these 5 models add up to more than 15 million dollars.

The record trilogy

This dedication to achieving unparalleled speeds in the modern era of Bugatti dates back to June 2010, nearly 13 years ago. On the Ehra-Lessien test track that day, a Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, powered by a development of the W16 engine with 1,200 hp, set a record of 431.07 km/h, breaking the speed of the previous holder.

The man behind the wheel that day was Pierre-Henri Raphanel, official Bugatti driver and former racing driver, who welcomed the collector to Molsheim and shared with him the excitement of his own world record experience.

Three years after the Veyron 16.4 Super Sport set its record, Bugatti would create another benchmark, for the world's fastest open-top car with the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse, which travelled at 408.84 km/h with the roof saved. The Veyron was manufactured until 2015.

The latest world record model, the Chiron Super Sport 300+, was built to celebrate the first production series car to travel at more than 300 mph (482.80 km/h).

In 2019, a variant of the more than 300 travelled at 490.48 km/h at the hands of Bugatti works driver and Le Mans 24 Hours winner Andy Wallace, who later became the first person to drive over 300 mph in a series production car.

Wallace himself made the trip to Molsheim to meet again with the lucky owner of this collection and be part of this historic reunion.

To celebrate this special day, all their cars were hand-signed by Bugatti Design Director Achim Anscheidt with a special note for the three world-record models that read: "In a friendship of records. Molsheim, 26/4/23'.

To immortalize this once-in-a-lifetime moment, drivers Andy Wallace and Pierre-Henri Raphanel also signed the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Veyron 16.4 Super Sport World Record Edition.

In return, the customer gave a special gift from his collection, to keep in Molsheim. In late 2022, Bugatti worked with Champagne Carbon to develop the unique La Bouteille Noire, a handcrafted carbon fiber case in the style of La Voiture Noire3, which housed a 15-liter bottle of champagne inside its leather-lined interior.
