After protests from many Aviv Geffen fans, who could not attend his huge show in Yarkon Park, which took place at the height of the military operation in the Gaza Strip and under rocket fire into Israel caused a storm, the musician is offering compensation: a free ticket to his next huge show, Rock Ball 12, which will take place in a few months.
"To all my beloved audience who did not make it to the Rock 11 Ball in Yarkon Park," Geffen wrote on Instagram, "I and the production understand the disappointment that the security situation prevented you from celebrating with me and it is important for us to give the people the full experience - free tickets to my biggest and most invested show - Rock Ball 12, which will take place in a few months. We promise you surprises and special hospitality as befits any rock ball."
Earlier, fans who bought tickets for the huge show and could not attend due to the security situation contacted the ticket office to receive compensation but were told that only residents of the Gaza envelope who presented their address on their ID cards would receive a refund on the ticket. At the same time, a group of angry fans is organizing who are considering filing a class action lawsuit against the production of the show demanding a refund.

The decision to hold Aviv Geffen's performance on Thursday in Yarkon Park was made after receiving intelligence assessments and analyzing a lot of data, a senior security source told Walla!. The controversial decision caused a storm, and alongside those who supported it, there were quite a few who criticized it and claimed that it endangered the 40,<> people who came to watch the performance.
The official also revealed that a number of tactical decisions were made that helped deal with the complexity of the situation. "One of the decisions was that the Home Front Command would not announce a warning of rockets if they were launched, but would pass Aviv Geffen a note quickly on stage - and he was supposed to ask the public who came to the concert to sit on the grass and act accordingly to prevent panic."
