On Monday, there were again road blockades in Berlin by the climate stickers of the group "Last Generation". Among other things, the activists glued themselves to a car tire.
For a week, traffic in Berlin flowed undisturbed again. The "Last Generation" had given the federal government a "pause for thought". But at the start of the week, the climate stickers are back on the streets of the capital and disrupt rush hour traffic. Once again with a new method, because the activists glued themselves to a car tire.
The vehicle was a rental car with which the "Last Generation" had previously slowed down traffic on Hohenzollerndamm. Subsequently, two climate activists glued themselves to the tire and rim from the inside. A sand-glue mixture was used, which makes it difficult to loosen the glued hands, the group announced. The police resolved the situation with a spontaneous tire change on the spot.

And in other places, too, the climate stickers blocked traffic on Monday morning. As reported by Bild, Spandauer Damm (near Charlottenburg Palace), Kurfürstendamm (near Lewishamstraße), Eberswalder Straße (near Schönhauser Allee) and Fennstraße (near Müllerstraße) were affected by the protest actions.

As a result, there were again numerous traffic jams in Berlin. On the A100 city motorway, there was a delay of two hours in the direction of Neukölln, as the Berlin traffic information centre wrote on Twitter. In the direction of Wedding it also took 105 minutes longer. In addition, a protest march marched through the capital at 15 p.m.
Truck driver tears activist off the road
So the nerves of road users in Berlin were on edge again. Finally, they found a creative solution and simply bypassed the climate adhesives. This time, however, a truck driver's collar burst. He simply tore one of the activists, who was about to glue herself down, from the street. Violence against the activists has been the rule rather than the exception in recent weeks, and motorists are also liable to prosecution.

And the protests were not particularly well received on Twitter either. There was a lot of criticism for the "last generation" – especially for sticking to the rental car:

- "Completely crazy, now you're going crazy, aren't you?!"
- "It is NOT your property, but you are intentionally damaging someone else's property. Hopefully the landlord will let you pay for the property damage."
