In nine out of ten cases, these are characterized by an intense sense of peace and well-being. In eight out of ten cases: the feeling of leaving one's body and seeing oneself from the outside. And in three quarters of cases: the vision of a very bright light that attracts you or a light tunnel; an alteration in the perception of time. For a scientist, the first question that comes to mind is: is there something special going on in a person's brain at the moment when the heart stops that would explain such a similarity in the stories?
