The ACUM Awards in the field of popular music for 2022/23 will be held for the 66th year on July 9 at Cinema City, Glilot, hosted by Yair Nitzani and under the musical direction of Eyal Mezig.

Musicians Yizhar Ashdot and Rami Kleinstein will receive the ACUM Lifetime Achievement Awards, it was announced Thursday. Special awards from the ACUM Board of Directors for contribution to Israeli music and culture will be awarded to singer-songwriter Esther Shamir and music producer Louis Lahav. The ACUM Awards in the field of popular music for 2022/23 will be held for the 66th year on July 9 at Cinema City, Glilot, hosted by Yair Nitzani and under the musical direction of Eyal Mezig.

Other winners: The Moshe Wilensky Song of the Year Achievement Award will be awarded to Paul Trunk and Jimbo Jay's "Settle in the Kibbutz"; The Uzi Hitman Album Achievement of the Year Award will be awarded to Peer Tessi and Eitan Darmon for the album "Space Radio"; The Inbal Perlmutter Discovery Achievement of the Year Award will be awarded to Odia; The Yossi Banai Author of the Year Achievement Award will be awarded to Tamar Yahalomi; the Sasha Argov Composer of the Year Achievement Award for Avi Aburumi; The Yair Rosenblum Achievement of the Year Award will be awarded to Matan Dror.

The ACUM On Air Prize for the most played Israeli work will be awarded to the signatories of the hit song "Go to sleep": singer Anna Zak, writers and composers Ron Bitton, Itai Shimoni and Jordi, who also produced; The ACUM On Air Prize for the most played foreign work will be awarded to the Israeli representatives of the signatories of the hit song "As it was" performed by Harry Styles. The prize will be awarded to the representative publisher in Israel - Universal Israel.

The winners of the prizes were selected by a judging committee, which included Moki, Ze'ev Nechama, Guy Mezig and Aaron Perera.
