The prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into the causes of death after the fall of a four-year-old girl from the twelfth floor of a building in Lorient (Morbihan) Saturday night, he told AFP. "Everything points in the state towards a terrible accident," said the prosecutor of Lorient.
According to Le Télégramme, the tragedy occurred Saturday night in the district of Kervénanec in Lorient. The girl would have escaped the vigilance of her entourage when she fell from the window of her room, says Ouest-France. Supported by the fire brigade and medicalized on the spot, the child was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Contacted by AFP, firefighters and police did not comment.
