Now that there's AI everywhere for Microsoft, Anvidia, Dell, Google, and even your cup of coffee, Instagram is also joining the AI fashion, with a bot that will give you advice and support. According to a ZDNET release, software engineer Alessandro Peluzzi claims Instagram is working on their own artificial intelligence agent.

The Instagram chatbot will be available for questions, give advice, and have 30 different personalities to choose from. The Instagram robot can help you draft messages, and you can also bring him into the conversation by mentioning his name with a binder before the name (the @ sign).

There's currently no information on when this new toy that Instagram is working on will be available or even published, but it's certainly a sign that Meta's subsidiary is cooking something up. Mark Zuckerberg, Meta's chief executive, noted back in February that the company was working on various "personalities" for artificial intelligence for Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, and which Peluzzi has a good reputation for unveiling software products at work, such as unveiling Instagram's verification system a few weeks before it was announced.

At the same time, it was reported two weeks ago that Instagram is also working on artificial intelligence that will be a new way of discovering content, which is in the initial stages of development, but the idea is that it will recommend content to you and respond to queries with content that matches what users are looking for. The AI will be called tacos (like the Mexican dish), and it is currently being tested in the Philippines.
