The body of a decomposing man was found Sunday walled in the kitchen of an apartment in Livry-Gargan (Seine-Saint-Denis) by the occupant of the place of return after six months of absence, we learned Monday from police sources.
The woman had entrusted the apartment to a couple whose husband was to carry out work there, according to a police source.

Back from Algeria, she found that a low wall of "1m50 long, 1 meter high and 40 cm wide" had been erected in her kitchen during her absence, according to the same source.
A man in the fetal position
After noticing a strong smell of bleach and flies present at the scene, she alerted the police. On the spot, the investigators make a hole in the wall and discover the presence of "necrophagous insects, maggots and a blanket covering a shape," says the police source.
Then when the wall is destroyed, the body of a man is found in the fetal position.
The occupant of the premises stated that she only knew the first name of the contractor who was supposed to carry out her work.
The investigation was entrusted to the judicial police of Seine-Saint-Denis.
