A bar was damaged during the night from Sunday to Monday in a popular district of Bastia, the 4th since the start of the year on the island, we learned from Corsican prosecutors.

Investigations currently separate
In all three cases, “explosive devices” were found and investigations into damage by dangerous means were opened by the prosecution, which entrusted them to the interdepartmental direction of the national police.
No claims have been made for these facts.
“For the moment, these are three separate investigations and at this stage, no link has been judicially established between these three facts,” insisted the Bastia prosecutor.
In Corsica-du-Sud, “the Manhattan” in Propriano was damaged during the night from Thursday to Friday: “an explosion took place inside the bar, which caused considerable damage,” said the prosecutor of the Republic of Ajaccio Nicolas Septe who also opened an investigation for damage by dangerous means entrusted to the Research Section of the gendarmerie.
