The new Škoda Superb wagon built on the MQB-EVO platform, and with a 30-litre larger load compartment, will be launched in Italian showrooms in April.
Orders are already open, and the prices of the model, with the new 1.5 TSI 150 HP mild-hybrid DSG under the bonnet, start from 43,500 euros for the Selection version.
This is the fourth generation of the Bohemian company's wagon, currently offered with the new 1.5 TSI mild-hybrid 150 HP DSG unit, as well as with the 2.0 TDI Evo DSG with the same power.

Specifically, the new mild-hybrid engine, available for the first time for the Superb, is a 4-cylinder that combines the Miller cycle with direct injection and the new generation ACT+ selective cylinder shutdown technology, designed to obtain, in WLTP cycle, consumption in the order of 5.3-5.9l/100 km;
while the 2.0 TDI Evo 150 HP DSG boasts approved consumption, again in the WLTP cycle, between 5.0 and 5.4l/100 km.
Subsequently, the range of engines will be completed by the new 1.5 TSI PHEV with an electric range of over 100 km, and by the 2.0 TDI with 193 HP combined with 4x4 all-wheel drive.
All units of the new Superb wagon feature, as standard, the new DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission with the selector moved to the right side of the steering column.
There are three new trim versions currently available, which respond to the acronyms Selection, Style and Laurin&Klement, already from the Selection the standard equipment includes devices such as adaptive and predictive cruise control with follow-to-stop, active lane departure warning, the crew protect assistant, the crossroad assistant, the driver alert, and the emergency assist 3.0 with emergency steering assist which takes control of the vehicle and brings it to a safe stop if the driver falls ill.
In addition to the front assistant with pedestrian recognition, road sign recognition, blind spot monitoring and turn assistance.
Furthermore, there is also the Phone Box with wireless charging and active cooling, the 10.2-inch digital instrumentation, the 10.4-inch dashboard screen with gesture control, the DAB radio, the voice control, up to the Škoda connect which includes emergency call.
