Peugeot's Lion has no doubts: counting on its history, its strength and its position it wants to become the leader in the European electricity market by 2025.

A commitment that was reiterated in the 2024 edition of E-Lion Day, the second after last year's debut of what is a true manifesto event of Peugeot's programs in favor of sustainable development.

"With the E-Lion project - said Linda Jackson, CEO of the French brand Stellantis - it mobilizes all its technological know-how and the creativity of its teams to allow all its customers to access sustainable mobility. As leaders, we want to pave the way. It's an incredibly rewarding task."

The central element of the presentation made by Jackson was the Allure Care program dedicated to the new E-3008 which aims to accelerate the adoption of latest generation electric cars.

She does this by offering customers the peace of mind they need to make the transition to new zero-emission mobility.

Allure Care guarantees the electric motor, the charging system, the propulsion system and the main electrical and mechanical components in the new E-3008 for 8 years and 160,000 km in addition to the specific guarantee (also lasting 8 years and 160,000 km) which Peugeot provides batteries for all its electric models.

With the launch of Allure Care in key European markets, Peugeot becomes the first European brand to offer such extensive coverage on one of its models.

Coverage is activated automatically - for a period of 2 years or 25,000 km - after each maintenance intervention carried out by the Peugeot network.

"We believe Allure Care will accelerate the adoption of the latest generation of Peugeot electric models - commented Phil York, marketing and communications director of the Lion House - offering customers the peace of mind they need to take this step".

“This exceptionally broad coverage is a testament to the confidence we have in the quality and reliability of our products.”

Linda Jackson also announced the arrival of ChatGPT in the i-Cockpit of all the brand's models.

The introduction will concern passenger and commercial vehicles in 5 'pilot' markets followed by a broader launch starting from the second half of 2024.

ChatGPT which will become the best-known generative artificial intelligence model through integration in the i-Cockpit , through the Ok Peugeot voice assistant, a real partner capable of answering questions and requests on any type of topic.

For example, it will be sufficient to express your request so that ChatGPT responds comprehensively, for example by suggesting the landmarks to visit in a city and taking the car to the various destinations of a real tourist tour which also includes verbal news about the places .

Leo continues to protect - in a broader sense - the natural environment and future generations as well.

In the spring of 2023, a first partnership was launched with the French scientific and educational association Under The Pole, one of whose missions is to raise awareness among new generations of the great challenges of ocean conservation.

Today, a second partnership was announced for 2024 with British charity Born Free, working to protect wildlife and wild places in Kenya and other countries around the world by engaging, educating and empowering local communities.
