Emotions are high this Tuesday on the second day of this trial before the Paris criminal court.
The members of the victim's family, unable to hold back their tears, took turns in the morning in front of the witness box.
The accused, Youssef, 33, has been appearing since Monday for having, on August 22, 2020, committed violence leading to death, under the influence of alcohol and accompanied by racist remarks.
For the victim's widow, his sister and the daughter, Yuefeng Jiang, 49, racism against the Chinese is at the heart of this sad story.

With blonde hair and a beige dress, Frédérique approaches the five professional judges to paint the portrait of her husband, Yuefeng Jiang, whom everyone called Albert.
“He was a man who had a great joy in life.
He showed great empathy.
Between him and me it was immediately passionate,” she explains.
At 55, this woman still cannot accept the disappearance of her husband.
“It was my pillar in life.
He took care of me and the children.
He always did everything to make others around him happy.
It's really painful to live without him.
Her parents and children did not deserve this,” she adds.
