Even more efficient, even more versatile, with a renewed and increasingly green design, the new Fiat Professional Scudo in the 2024 model year is offered with a Diesel engine and in the eScudo variant with an electric engine that can be combined with two battery sizes, 50 and 75 kW, for average maximum distances (Wltp) per charging cycle of 224 and 350 km respectively.
From an aesthetic point of view, it features a new front style and redesigned full-LED headlights, as well as the new Titanium Gray body color.
The interiors have been renovated in the central part.
The riding position has evolved.
The digital control panel and the large 10" central touchscreen guarantee comfortable and effective interaction between man and vehicle. The storage compartments are more spacious, especially in the upper part of the dashboard and on the central armrest. The ingenious design of the Cup holders at the ends of the dashboard allow customers to place their smartphone in an upright position. Furthermore, it is possible to adjust the front seat and use it as a table for computers and tablets or as a support for dining in maximum comfort.
With a height of just 190 cm, Scudo model year 2024 offers a reference useful volume: up to 6.6 m3 of load capacity and up to 1.4 tonnes of payload.
It also boasts a cutting-edge system for loading bulky materials which further highlights the model's unique versatility.
Thanks to the "Magic Cargo" functionality, professionals will be able to extend the loading area: up to 3.67 m in the standard version and up to a maximum of 4.02 m in the Maxi version.
Thanks to its new 100 kW electric motor for 260 Nm of maximum torque, the new E-Scudo promises optimal performance in any load situation, allowing the driver to reach a maximum speed of 130 km/h.
To optimize autonomy, it is equipped with a regenerative braking system which can be activated according to four different regeneration schemes, thanks to the paddles located behind the steering wheel.
The new Scudo also offers a wide range of latest generation diesel engines, with three power steps and dual transmissions available: manual or 8-speed automatic.
The electric version benefits from a payload of up to 1.25 tonnes, while the diesel version can reach almost 1.4 tonnes.
Among the technological highlights of the 2024 Scudo, noteworthy is the new infotainment system with on-the-air interconnection.
The standard radio features a 5'' touchscreen DAB radio with an integrated USB port.
The premium infotainment system, available with or without integrated navigation, is equipped with a 10" color touchscreen display, DAB radio receiver, MP3 player, 4 USB inputs and Wi-Fi connection, as well as preparation for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For safety, the Fiat professional salesman presents advanced Adas-type driving assistance systems, such as Intelligent Speed Assist with recognition of speed limits, Driver Attention Alert which recognizes when the driver is tired and warns him of possible danger and Lane Keep Assist, capable of detecting the edges of the road even at high speeds and issuing audible and visual warnings if the vehicle is leaving its lane.
Then there is the Magic Mirror, which is a real plus for safety in daily use.
From Turin, in this regard, they underline: "It is a new feature that displays two different views on a new digital rear-view mirror so that the driver can carry out any maneuver safely. The images come from two cameras, one under the right side mirror and one above the rear doors. This gives you a rear view while driving and a side view on the right side of the blind area, helping professionals in their daily maneuvers. A unique tool that allows the system to offer the driver a clear view perfect fit of the rear of the vehicle, but also of the areas surrounding the vehicle on the passenger side".
