The complaint for rape filed against rapper Yuz Boy, winner of season 2 of the series “New School” on Netflix, was dismissed by the Paris prosecutor's office, Le Parisien learned from a source close to the case.
On June 1, 2023, the day after his victory in the rap competition produced by the streaming platform, the artist from Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis) learned through the press that one of his “ acquaintances” had filed a complaint for rape against him in August 2022.
A 26-year-old young woman, who wished to remain anonymous, told our colleagues at BFMTV that she had been the victim of three rapes between 2020 and 2021. “I tried to push her away with my hand and I asked her orally to stop clearly,” she described when discussing the first of the three sexual assaults of which she accused him.

Very quickly, the rapper claimed via his social networks to be innocent.
“I have confidence in the justice system which will do its job,” he wrote.
His lawyer, Me Alissia Dexet, assures that Yuz Boy now intends to “turn the page” and concentrate on his artistic career, which has been put on hold since the start of this affair.
The 24-year-old artist won the second season of Netflix's TV Show, which goes in search of the future rap star.
