Thanks to an important evolution, the ESI-tronic diagnosis software used at Bosch Car Services and independent automotive workshops around the world will be faster, more intuitive and simpler.
The changes will be introduced by Bosch gradually to ensure that workshops can familiarize themselves step by step with the new design interfaces and use the improvements that constitute a decisive step forward in mechatronics.
The new ESI-tronic Evolution home screen makes its debut for faster access to information.
Thanks to this new interface, diagnosis specialists in the workshop will soon have direct access to the main menu and submenus.
From that point, with just one click, they will be able to access diagnoses, manuals, electrical diagrams, known faults, system overview, maintenance plans, high voltage battery health report (Soh), component assembly instructions and original Case documentation car.
All this will save time and simplify access to information.
Furthermore, a new feature will make vehicle identification easier and faster.
Another important new feature is the option to customize the home screen.
With their Bosch SingleKey ID account, the operator will be able to view the functions they have selected as favorites.
The submenu structure will remain unchanged compared to ESI-tronic 2.0 Online, but with the next updates it will gradually be adapted to the new design.
The new Original Documents function also arrives in workshops which will provide direct access to the car manufacturer's information, which will allow - by quickly accessing the most reliable repair information - interventions on vehicles to be carried out professionally and efficiently.
Bosch diagnostic software will also provide direct access to the original documentation of some car manufacturers.
ESI-tronic Evolution will allow you to view all the necessary information made available by the manufacturer with just one click.
In a separate window, the workshop specialist will be able to view the original documentation, such as repair guides, professional maintenance instructions, bodywork data and wiring diagrams.
The brands available with the update will be Audi and Volkswagen, others will be added later.
The Bosch Connected Repair Cloud solution, with which workshop tools are connected to each other and reports saved in the Cloud, will also be integrated and displayed on the home screen.
Workshop operators will be able to start, verify and complete activities directly from ESI-tronic Evolution.
