The world of gaming and content creation has long been becoming the center of the world of teenagers and children, with each time the fashion changes accordingly - if a few years ago everyone played Minecraft and then Fortnite, now it's the turn of Palworld and the like. In short, you won't see kids giving up computers in the foreseeable future.
Along with the desire to support children and their dreams, professional gaming equipment including a chair, keyboard, mouse and headphones can together add up to quite a fortune.
For example, a professional gaming chair from a company like Razer can easily cross the NIS 1,000 mark.
A professional mechanical keyboard?

A gaming mouse will cost you several hundred shekels as well as headphones.
Children and teenagers are probably not going to abandon the world of gaming.

In other words - without noticing, peripheral computing equipment can easily reach several thousand shekels for the recommended brands, and not everyone can or wants to invest such sums in a hobby that is just beginning to develop at a young age.
Therefore, when "Olam Cinema" offered us to try the GS-96 "5 in 1" gaming kit from the X TRIKE ME company, which includes a chair, keyboard, headphones, mouse and pad, at a price that seems ridiculous on paper, we were intrigued to try and understand what such an accessible experience would be like .
Upon receiving the kit, we immediately turned to the most valuable part of it - the gaming chair.
Its assembly was extremely simple and after about 10 minutes it was already ready for sitting.
The chair comes with a raising and lowering mechanism only, without the possibility of changing the angle of the backrest.

As an adult we were a little less comfortable getting used to the angle of the backrest, although it was quite straight (which is also our preference).
At the same time, the 10-year-old boy who we asked to try the kit (after all, it is a product for children), did not express any complaint and was satisfied even after a few hours of sitting.
The quality of the chair pleasantly surprised us, as there are similar chairs on the market that alone cost amounts approaching the amount of each kit.
As expected, there are pieces of fabric (fake leather) that stand out here and there, but overall the stitching is good and the seat manages to properly support the weight of an adult.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the wired mouse, which slides and translates movements well. Pierre, we sank into Assassin's Creed Valhalla quite easily And we forgot that we are holding a much less professional mouse than the ones we are used to.

This is a simple mouse, but one that knows how to do the job and will appeal to young gamers who don't care and don't know exactly what a professional sensor or "1KHz Polling Rate" is.
The pad included in the kit also does the job.
The keyboard, which at first glance looks very nice and with beautiful RGB lights, turned out to be very simple, which is not necessarily a problem, but it did become the first thing in the kit that slightly disappointed us, since we tried similar cheap keyboards that managed to make a more positive impression, mainly because they had an intact and stable plastic shell Better on the table.
At the same time, it also does its job reliably and when we played with it, everything worked smoothly.
It is important to take into account that because of its low profile, it fits and will be more comfortable in the hands of children.

As far as the headphones are concerned - for us, this is a mistake that is difficult to overcome compared to the keyboard.
It is true that this is a very affordable kit and as such certain concessions have to be made, but we would prefer to get a kit without headphones at all, instead of headphones that feel as if they were "pushed" into the kit to increase its volume.
For us, this is the biggest drawback of the whole set.
All in all, when looking at cost versus benefit, the X TRIKE ME GS-96 "5 in 1" gaming set gives good value for the price you pay, when the target audience is primarily children.
We would recommend it to parents who want to give their child the feeling of real gaming, but at an extremely affordable price and as a "safe start".
