Unveiled in preview in 2023 and celebrated in public at the very recent Rolex 24 in Daytona (to celebrate 20 years of this model), the renewed Cadillac CT5-V sports sedan is now making its debut in the 2025 model year, which finds the maximum expression of sportiness in the Blackwing variant.
The CT5-V 2025 stands out for a new design - more 'performance' - of the front part with a new treatment of the grille and the bumper shield and, above all, a greater 'thrust' downwards which brings these road models closer to the CT5- Competition V.
In the Blackwing a further element of sportiness is given by the Brembo brakes at the front and rear.

A new light signature also stands out, with the vertical lighting typical of Cadillacs which has been redesigned with new LED headlights, just as the car's ability to create a real light choreography in various situations evolves.
“Cadillac sedans continue to bring positive momentum to the brand year after year,” said John Roth, global vice president of the Cadillac division. “Last year our sedans recorded our best sales since 2018 and the CT5 is the best-selling Cadillac model in global level".
The luxury brand of the General Motors Group confirms with the Cadillac CT5-V and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing that it still believes in the importance of traditional petrol engines (the ones most loved by its customers).
It does so by continuing to provide two engines with unparalleled behavior and 'sound', to offer what the note defines as "an engaging driving experience".
They are the V5 3.0 Twin Turbo (LGY series) with 360 HP, which is coupled in the CT5-V version to a 10-speed automatic gearbox and a powerful 6.2 supercharged V8 with 668 HP which is offered with both the 10-speed automatic gearbox and with a 6-speed manual.
On request, the CT5-V version is available with all-wheel drive.
The new 2025 model year Cadillacs will be manufactured at GM's Lansing Grand River Assembly Plant in Michigan with production beginning in summer 2024.
