There were 3,170 deaths on the roads of France in 2023, down 3% compared to 2022: this is what Sécurité routière, the French road safety organization, announced today.
The past year, the organization specifies, was marked by a decrease in the number of deaths in all categories of road vehicles, with the exception of the so-called 'motorized devices for personal travel' (EDPm), such as scooters, with 42 deaths, up 7% compared to 2022.
