Hyundai Motor Company will provide Iveco Group with an Iveco-branded all-electric light commercial vehicle for the European market, based on Hyundai's global eLCV platform.

The new vehicle will add to the Iveco Group's current range of electric light commercial vehicles, expanding the range in this segment of which the iconic Iveco Daily is part.


    The agreement was signed at Hyundai MotorCompany headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, in the presence of Jaehoon Chang, president and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company, Ken Ramírez, executive vice president, Gerrit Marx, CEO of Iveco Group, and LucaSra, president of Truck Business unit of Iveco Group.


    Hyundai Motor Company and Iveco Group started their cooperation in March 2022 and have achieved concrete results in hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles, including the co-development of the fuel cell electric eDaily and the launch of the fuel cell electric city bus E-Way .

The new agreement not only marks an expansion of the partnership to include a wider range of environmentally sustainable models, but also underlines the joint commitment of the two companies to accelerate the transition towards zero-impact mobility and transport.
