Thieves stole the headlights from a Porsche 911.

They severely damaged the sports car.

There was a similar case in Germany.

The fact that thieves also target cars is nothing new.

Often it is the entire vehicle that arouses interest.

Sometimes the thieves only target certain parts with which they can make good money.

Catalysts are particularly popular.

It is not uncommon for the vehicle to be on wooden blocks instead of wheels the next day.

And Porsche's headlights also seem to be becoming increasingly popular.

However, the thieves are not squeamish, as a post on the social media platform Reddit shows.

There, the user JesusIsMySecondSon posted photos (found below) of a black Porsche 911 Carrera without headlights.

Noticeable: The fenders were cut open.

Headlight thieves cut up Porsche: were they repeat offenders?

The Reddit user writes about the picture: “Is this a thing now?” He is referring to a similar theft of a Porsche Taycan.

Here too, the perpetrators had massively damaged the sports car in order to steal the headlights.

Accordingly, a user also wonders whether it is the same thief and whether the cut is his trademark.

A guess that is quite obvious.

This is how the theft of the Taycan took place in Düsseldorf.

It is not known where the 911 Carrera was located.

Based on the license plates, the Netherlands is very likely.

Venlo is only around 60 kilometers from the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia.

A connection is therefore possible.

Thieves seriously damage Porsche: “That should be punished with forced labor”

One thing is certain: the damage to the Porsche 911 Carrera is extensive.

Depending on the variant, the headlights cost between 2,260 and 3,970 euros.

Added to this are the new fenders and other expenses.

The bottom line is that the owner is likely to receive a five-figure sum.

However, it can be assumed that the sports car is fully insured, which should cover the damage.
