Renault's commercial vehicle department is focusing on the new Master E-Tech Electric, for which the choice was made to equip two batteries optimized in terms of capacity, size and mass, combining them with in-depth work on aerodynamics and a new platform.

There are two energy storage capacities available: 40 kWh and 87 kWh.

Both battery packs are included in a single casing which allows it to respond to urban needs but also to customers' peri-urban uses, preserving the vehicle's useful load.

Range optimization is based on the Aerovan concept and the multi-energy platform (electric motor, innovative dynamic braking and battery thermal management).

It is the Aerovan design that allows the vehicle to benefit from best-in-class efficiency, regardless of the energy used.

Its SCx has been reduced by more than 20%, thus positioning it at the highest levels in the segment.

New Renault Master E-Tech Electric was developed in the wind tunnel and the profile, like the individual components, were designed down to the smallest detail.

Thousands of hours of study were carried out in the aerodynamic tunnel for development, while homologation, given its dimensions, took place in a wind tunnel specialized in aeronautical applications.

To meet all the needs of professional use, the performance of the powertrain has been improved with a 300 Nm / 105 kW electric motor and a gearbox with one of the highest ratios on the heavy electric van market.

New Renault Master E-Tech Electric boasts a payload of 1,625 kg with B license and a towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes.

Consumption is 21 kWh /100 km in the WLTP cycle in the version equipped with an 87 kWh battery.

The 130 kW direct current fast charging allows you to recover 252 km of autonomy in 30 minutes.

At home, it takes less than four hours with the 22 kW AC Wallbox to recharge the battery from 10% to 100%.

New Renault Master E-Tech Electric offers two engines: 96 or 105 kW.

Both deliver a torque of 300 Nm and are equipped with a battery with a capacity of 40 kWh (approximately 200 km of WLTP autonomy) and 87 kWh (up to 460 km of WLTP autonomy), respectively.

Renault Master E-Tech Electric is the only vehicle in its category produced in France with three types of fuel (thermal, electric and hydrogen) and all bodywork assembled on the same production line in the Batilly plant.

The vehicle will be marketed starting from spring 2024.
