In January 2024, Dacia Sandero was confirmed as the best-selling foreign car in Italy.
Even in the first month of the new year, Dacia confirms itself as the foreign brand most chosen by Italian customers and this leadership is supported by the highest ever value of vehicles delivered in a month in Italy, i.e. 10,618 units which correspond to a total market share by 6.6%.
On the passenger car market alone, Dacia delivers a record of 10,319 units which corresponds to a share of 7.27% and a +19% compared to 2023. This growth is 80% higher than that recorded by the market (+10.6%).
In the market for cars sold to private customers, where Dacia has a consolidated leadership, the Renault Group company closed with 9,805 units delivered, which corresponds to a share of 11.23%.
Leadership in the LPG market was also confirmed where almost 1 in 2 cars delivered in Italy was a Dacia (49.1% of the total).
73% of the Dacias delivered in January had this power supply.
As regards the individual models, Sandero is also the best-selling foreign car in our country in 2024, while Duster takes second position in the B SUV segment (private customers) and Jogger is the absolute leader in the C segment (non-SUV) .
