Israeli Cinema Day will be held on February 7, and as part of it, 26 Israeli films will be screened in cinemas at a price of ten shekels per ticket (and for Piss subscribers even at a lower price than that).
This, in the shadow of the war, and about half a year after the last time Cinema Day was celebrated in cinemas.
Among the films are some of the hits of Israeli cinema of the past year - Ophir Award winner "Seven Blessings", "Monkey Garden" by Avi Nesher, "The Pier" which deals with the Yom Kippur War and the comedy "Running on the Sand" - and alongside them also quite a few films in pre-premiere screenings, For example the musical "The Victors", which takes place around the Six Day War, or the acclaimed "The Disappearing Soldier" - both were screened at the last Haifa festival, but have not yet been officially released to the general public.
