Here comes Shakma Bresler, or should it be better to say - Professor Shakma Bresler (her title has something to do with the subject, as will be clarified below) for a friendly interview with Danny Kushmaro in the sixth studio of Keshet, the left marker (by choice) of the current affairs broadcasters in Israel - and the end of this meeting is Both of whom provided a good service, unwittingly of course, to whoever is responsible for defaming Bressler, along with other crazy conspiracy theories.
For those who have spent the last week in a media vacuum, here are some points to set the record straight: Gottlieb publicly acknowledged what was published on the Kikioni website, according to which Bresler, both directly and through her husband "deputy head of the Shin Bet" (allegedly) held talks with the leadership of Hamas, in order to bring about an attack October 7. A claim that every human being must reject outright.
For the smearing of the blood of approximately 1,400 murdered and IDF martyrs on Bressler's hands, it is to be hoped that those responsible, including Gottlieb herself (even though she made it clear that she intends to hold on to the altar funds of her immunity as "Keith") will come for their punishment. The question is why Bresler - and here is the place to emphasize again: Prof. Bresler - was chosen as the target of such an obscene attack?

Bressler is the anti-material from which the poison machine made by the prime minister is made: she is a woman, of Ashkenazi origin, she is educated, she is considered brilliant in her field, she amassed a fortune with her own hands - she is everything that the Israeli government and some of its supporters try to exclude from the public discourse.
It is not for nothing that two women were chosen to hit her, one from the Knesset seat and the other from the government.
If the goal is the protest movement, one could try to hit Brigadier General Amir Hashakal, for example, or Moshe Redman (as an example of two other figures identified with the protest, from Balfour to Kaplan), but one is an older man with a glorious military past and the other added a name to his name A Mizrahi family, which provides a certain degree of immunity.
Bressler can be your wife, your mother, your sister or your daughter - she is the "poster girl" for everything and everyone that the alliance between the extreme right and ultra-Orthodox tries to exclude from influencing the public discourse, from key positions in the government and in the economy. The explanation for the minority of women in the centers of power where the decisions are made, precisely because she surpasses in her education and abilities the majority of those who staff them.
It is important to emphasize that Bresler also had outrageous, extreme and typical statements for someone who found herself prominent, a celebrity at the forefront of the struggle for legal legislation. Perhaps there was even a power intoxication there. Only It must be remembered that Bresler does not hold any official position around the government table, she has not made a political or military decision since her days and has no responsibility whatsoever, for better or worse, for the state of Israel: she is the one who enabled her growth as a successful physicist and startup entrepreneur and the one who took her to the streets (and it must be mentioned : Both things happened during Netanyahu's time).

Bresler is therefore a tool in the hands of those who seek to substantiate the claim that the Hamas attack happened - if not in cooperation between the organization of the murderers and domestic conspirators, then at least while taking advantage of Israel's situation, because of Kaplan's protest.
Let it be said right away: this theory also does not stand up to the test of reality, which reveals to us that the Hamas attack was planned for years and intended to be carried out on several previous dates, until we find the perfect timing in terms of Israel's military unpreparedness (a subject that needs to be investigated in depth without any connection to the pike industry).
But the strength of this thesis is that it is no longer dismissed out of hand, like the delusional claims of those who won the "New Woman" slot in 25th place on the Likud list for the Knesset (a better term to describe Netanyahu's personal appointment).
It is already something that is heard, at least in the first moment and until it is compared with the facts, as more logical: there really was a spirit of oppressors in the people, there really was a division, there were really calls for refusal (which was not actually there).
What did they do at News 12 (and not only in Bresler's conversation with Kushmaro)?
They made fun of the conspiracy, but at the same time - unwittingly - played into the hands of the more logical theory.
When, for example, in the "Wonderful Land" studio, Gottlieb's character appears and accuses "Shakma Bresler and her husband Yahya Sinvar-Bresler" of the massacre on October 7th, you can't help but laugh, but the more you laugh at the extreme expression of the betrayal theory, you strengthen the theory "The weakening from within" - the same in the conversation with Kushmaru: he came to refute (the conspiracy theory) and came out strengthening - all the other accusations.
Bresler didn't say much in the conversation, a little about her lawsuit, a little reconstruction of the reasons that brought her out into the streets in the first place, a little about her love for her partner who is not the "deputy head of the Shin Bet" as claimed. The only sentence that can be taken from her words is "Don't say 'it will be fine, to make sure that everything will be fine" with the addition of her statement that those who will lead the struggle, when it resumes, will be the reserve soldiers.
They came to disprove the conspiracy spread by "the prime minister's entourage", but actually strengthened Netanyahu.

A gift to Netanyahu

I tried to disconnect a little and distance myself - and I listened to what sounded like a direct continuation of the last news broadcast to which I was exposed: Israel is waiting for Hamas' answer to an outline that it has already submitted Confirmed in advance, while the prime minister denies it. The IDF continues to operate in Khan-Younes, but it seems a bit faltering and everyone wants to talk about the day after, but they don't dare.
This "news shuffling" is bad for Netanyahu, as it turns the gaze inward, to the functioning - or rather the non-functioning - of the government headed by him (and in partnership with Benny Gantz, Gadi Eisenkot and Gideon Sa'ar).
It is convenient for him to be involved in this fight, which around him hastened - if not to really provoke, then at least to echo from the first moment, when he half-disapproves, with a wink that cannot be missed.
Bresler also says this to Kushmaro, but even she, in fact, in the interview, serves those who seek to turn this hour when the role and functioning of the government must be debated in the face of the greatest crime committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, in the face of an indescribable security failure, in the face of what may To develop into an economic tsunami, in the same old-fashioned debate of yes Bibi or no Bibi.
