It is a memorandum of understanding dedicated to corporate fleets for cars and commercial vehicles in Europe, the one signed between BYD and Arval.
The Chinese giant dedicated to the production of new energy vehicles (NEV) and the leasing and new mobility solutions company have agreed to provide joint consultancy to national and international customers.
The agreement identifies key areas in the automotive sector, to accelerate the decarbonisation and electrification strategy of fleets.
In addition to the automotive markets, the cooperation between Arval and BYD will also cover light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and systemic solutions for new energies that combine battery vehicles, energy storage and solar systems.
The strategic collaboration aims to truly differentiate e-mobility solutions and financing for European customers.
The memorandum of understanding was formalized during an official signing ceremony at BYD Global headquarters in Shenzhen, China, in the presence of Michael Shu, managing director of BYD Europe, Alain Van Groenendael, CEO of Arval and other representatives of both.
