A Tesla customer doesn't seem to be thrilled with his Model Y.
He explains in a Facebook group what bothers him about the US electric car.
Stuttgart/Grünheide - US car manufacturer Tesla has been producing its electric car models in Germany for more than 1.5 years now.

However, there are apparently still problems with processing.
In the Facebook group “TESLA Model Y”, which is dedicated to the best-selling car of 2022, a user describes his experiences after picking up his
Model Y Long Range
.
He attributes the fact that he is disappointed with the successful electric model and probably with the overall experience not only to the workmanship but also to the unfriendly customer service.
This has been criticized repeatedly for some time.
Another Tesla driver was annoyed by loud noises and described his Model Y as a “pretty clunker”.
Tesla customer discovers several quality defects when picking up Model Y
If you buy a Tesla Model Y in Germany, you probably have to be very lucky.
For example, after just 24 hours, a new Tesla customer was convinced that he would never drive another car again.
The Facebook user in question apparently also had certain expectations of the
electric car
, but they were less positive.
“After picking up my MYLR today, I have to admit that I am very disappointed,” he wrote in the group.
“Based on numerous reports, I already expected that defects could possibly arise here and there.”

As already mentioned, the Model Y from Grünheide has repeatedly had quality defects in the past, which many Tesla fans were able to ignore.
For the Facebook user, however, the matter seems to be more serious.
“The paint damage on the bumper, the 3 fenders (VR, VL, HL), the right exterior mirror and the scratches on all the rims really left me speechless,” he describes his first impression.
If such defects are noticed when you pick it up, you can still complain directly.
However, the on-site service was apparently not very helpful.

Specifically, the Tesla customer explains that the behavior of the service employees made the disappointment even greater.
“You got the feeling that you had excessive demands and should be content with the fact that the car was there,” he writes.
“Despite my low expectations, my first encounter with Tesla was extremely disappointing.” After buying a new car, he would have to invest time, effort and possibly additional money to repair the damage.
In the Facebook group, many users rightly asked why he even accepted the car in this condition.
