Cross Med recommendations

so that he can, in case of concern, contact Cross Med by VHF (channel 16) or by telephone (196).”
It is also recommended to “have a signaling buoy in case of autonomous diving and a means of light to be able to signal yourself at night in all circumstances to search resources;
have a waterproof means of communication with a charged battery to contact CROSS Med if necessary (at 196 from any telephone or channel 16 by VHF);
check the weather in the area, find out about the specificities of the area of activity, and do not overestimate your means and capabilities if the conditions are not compatible with your level.”
