The songwriter, poet and recipient of the Acomm Lifetime Achievement Award, Rachel Shapira, won a year ago the Rishon Lezion Mayor's Award named after "Meir Ariel" for the year 2023. The award, worth NIS 36,000, expresses recognition for an outstanding artistic work in the Hebrew language. Among the songs she wrote : "What I will bless", "Like a wild plant", "Song of Yom Holin", "Hey Quiet", "Nepal", "A greeting", "The people of the rain", "I will talk to you", "Dreams", "Clay walls " more and more.
